Most of our dedicated team you’ll find in our retail stores across Australia and New Zealand. Our national office is based in Mulgrave, Victoria and is home to over 1000 team members. Kmart has the largest direct sourcing business by volume and value of any southern hemisphere retailer, with offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Dongguan, Bangladesh, India and Indonesia employing more than 500 team members. The business forms part of the Kmart Group which includes Target Australia and is owned by Wesfamers.
Through a collaboration between our product design, merchandise, and sourcing teams, we’re proud to design and make over 80% of the products you’ll find in our stores or online. And because we source in volume via our established supplier relationships, we can create incredible products at a lower cost. Savings we happily (and famously!) pass on to our customers.
